We respect the privacy of every visitor. Below is a plain-language summary of what we collect, what we don’t, and what happens when you get in touch.

What we don’t do

• This site has no user accounts, comments, forums or membership — we collect no account information.
• We use no third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics), no ad code, and no social share buttons, and there is no cross-site tracking.
• We never sell or share personal information with third parties — because we hardly collect any.

Cookies & local storage

The only cookie that may be written to your browser is next-locale, a language-preference cookie: when you switch language via the “中文 / English” toggle, it is saved for one year to remember your choice so the site can open in that language next time. It holds no personal information and is not used for tracking.

The site owner signs into the admin area (/admin) with a separate login session cookie; it is created only when the owner logs in, and never for ordinary visitors browsing the site.

When you contact us

If you email the public address on this site (gael.gjf@gmail.com), we receive the address and message you chose to send. They are used only to reply and to handle your question or feedback — never for anything else, and never shared with third parties. Emails are kept as long as needed, generally no longer than a reasonable period after the matter is resolved; just ask and we’ll delete them.

Server logs

Our hosting platform may record routine access logs (such as IP address, browser type and access time) for security and operations. These are used only to diagnose faults and deter abuse, and are not used to identify individuals.

Articles may link to third-party websites. Once you leave this site, your activity there is governed by that site’s own privacy policy.

Children

This site is aimed at pet owners and the general public. Minors should not email us personal information.
